Individual Counseling
Your head is spinning with questions. You think you might be learning something new about your identity, your gender or your sexuality, but how can you be sure? And what comes next? Should you tell anyone? Should you tell everyone? What does all of this mean? You feel scared and overwhelmed, but at the same time, you feel curious, maybe even excited. You want to understand yourself better. You want to feel at home within yourself.
If these sound like questions you have asked yourself, I am here to support you. I work with Queer and Questioning individuals who are going through self-discovery and coming out experiences. I love helping my clients as they embark on this journey to understanding and embracing the unique person that they are. I help clients navigate the life-long process of coming out and the joys and challenges of living as a Queer individual in the world. If you are looking for support in your journey of self-discovery and you live in North Carolina, I may be a fit for you. Click below to sign up for my waitlist.

This depends a lot on your needs and preferences! I work in a collaborative model with my clients to give you the best care for YOU. I offer both in-person and telehealth therapy. Sessions are 50 minutes and we typically spend the first few minutes catching up and eventually dive into what you want to discuss that week. I often use a parts-based/Internal Family Systems/attachment framework to help clients process their complex emotions and identities. I will sometimes lead my clients in activities like expressive arts therapies, visualization exercises or sand tray.

Absolutely! While I primarily work with clients who fall under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella, this is not the case for all of my clients! I also work with clients who are unsure of their gender and/or sexuality, clients who have a loved one who is coming out, and clients dealing with grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and/or relationship issues or think we might otherwise be a good fit! If you are interested in working together, sign up to get on the waitlist for a free 20 minute phone consultation.

Sometimes! While I primarily work with adults, I do occasionally see teen clients as well. This is completely normal! Clients often come into counseling unsure of what they are looking for. Before we even begin work together, we will have a free 20 minute phone consultation to determine if we are a good fit and what kind of support you might need. If I am not a great fit for your needs, I will provide referrals to help you find the help that you need! Click below to join the waitlist for a free consultation.
